The injected bentonite colloids travelled along a 2.23 m dipole flow field in the experimental zone. The recovery of conservative tracers was 100 % at the given flow rates. Colloid recovery calculations were carried out with data from a range of measurement techniques and preliminary results suggest that 80 to 90 % of the colloids passed through the test shear zone with little significant retardation.
