Take a virtual tour through the GTS undergound facilities with a selection of Quicktime Virtual Reality (VR) movies (Quicktime plugin required - free from www.apple.com).

Select from one of the vantage points shown in the menu on the left to load in the QTVR movie. With the QTVR movie it is possible to move the viewpoint and thus view a 360 degrees view. In the case of the higher resolution (5Mb file size) GMT and Controlled Zone QTVRs it is also possible to view overhead in a complete field of view.

Note: As the GMT and Controlled Zone QTVRs are High-resolution and 5 Mbs in size these movies might take some time to download and view at slower connection speeds. The remaining movies are approx 300-500 Kb in size.

In addition a computer animated fly-by movie of the tunnel layout, Grimsel overview is available (32Mb, Quicktime format)
